2019 Global Reach
In June 2019 Gardé Uhren- und Feinmechanik Ruhla GmbH in Thuringia filed for insolvency. Pointtec took over all employees from the watch assembly department. This decision was made after successful cooperation since 1990.

2017 Iron Annie
For the 30th anniversary Pointtec has added the new Iron Annie anniversary series to its product range. Like its legendary role model, the edition Iron Annie stands for robustness, reliability, technical innovation, high quality and striking design.

2014 Rosenthal
Pointtec started a cooperation with the company Rosenthal, the worldwide known. The jointly developed watches are made with handmade, partly hand-painted dials made of porcelain.

2002 Zeppelin
From the year 2002, Pointtec family exported its portfolio with the Zeppelin brand. This style reminds of the pioneers of aviation history and probably the most elegant way of travelling.

1996 Junkers
Pointtec was awarded the contract for the 100th anniversary of the company Bosch-Junkers 1000 chronographs and began series production of watches under the brand name Junkers.

1994 Maximilian
Pointtec develops and markets its first radio controlled watch under the own brand Maximilian München. As a result, this creation developed itself to a constant for radio-controlled watches on the market.

1990 Strategy
With the strategy of increasingly using mechanical movements from now on, Ruhla in Thuringia was chosen as the production location. Even today, all watches are produced by highly qualified watch maker under the highest standards in Germany.

1987 Formation
Unusual forms and styles were the theme at that time. Courageous creations and designs were created. With oversized ladies’ watches – a provocation and a statement – with a diameter of up to 48 mm, the young company drew attention early on.
